I must confess that this post has been in the works for a while. In my mind, I could picture it all, but when I started writing, nothing actually came out correctly. What words could I use to describe someone that has been a coach, client, and friend? What words can describe someone that changed my life forever? Well, let’s start by introducing this awesome chick, everyone, meet Marissa Loewen, the creator of the new brand on the block, “The Rich Pitch”!
I met Marissa through a common friend more than a year ago; I was looking for someone to help me with the business. She did all that and more. Through unsolicited, random acts of kindness, tough questions (and don’t think you can get away with lame, vague answers), and savvy psychology, business knowledge, and experience, she transforms your mind, and then your reality.
So, I was over the moon when Marissa decided to co-create “The Rich Pitch” with me: a multi-million dollar brand to take on the world! Simple.
From the beginning, our connection was fluid, authentic and based on intuition and feelings; it was like we were in each other’s minds. We co-created a clean, modern, friendly, direct and minimalist logo. Each letter of the logo was individually painted to make it fun, unique and memorable.
We added the hexagon, infusing the meaning of the number 6 into our logo. The number six represents the intersection of the structured natural world and the magic of the universe. We didn’t stop there; more sub-logos were designed, backgrounds, patterns, e-books, making the brand consistent, cohesive and vigorous in every possible way.
The take home lesson is: “When you learn how much you’re worth you’ll stop giving people discounts.” – Author Unknown – but it might very well be Marissa!
On the surface, this quote may seem appropriate for the entrepreneurial world, but in reality, it refers more to ourselves, in what we believe our worth is and inspires us to own it. This is the fundamental requirement to take on the world and change it with who you are.
